The president elect Donald Trump have promised the public to drive the biggest and mass deportation operation against the illegal migrants which may affect the production sector the most inclusive to other from agricultural to health care.

According to the latest study, most of the positions in the labor sectors are taken by foreign workers and the mass deportation can harm all these fields of the united states. the mass trump’s mass deportation can put all the employers in deep and hot waters as they look for new hires from the migrants.

The deportation can harm the agricultural industry, tech industry, health care, and construction industry where most of the positions are taken by the migrants who come to USA by H2-A Visas.

As per Bureau of Labor Statistics data migrants made up 18% of the workforce of the USA workforce market. they are contribution to the sectors such as construction, farming, technology, and health care, where the companies face problems to find hires for the these jobs from the local labor market.

As per new studies from the brooking institutions the mass deportation can reduce the USA Gross Domestic product growth by an alarming 0.1% to 0.4% in 2025. If the policy is implemented under the Trump’s administration, it may cause from $30 billion to $110 to USA economy. This will affect all the fields from tech to health care.

Trump may execute his mass deportation plans against the illegal migrants that came over and boosted the USA economy after the pandemic which accounts for 18% of the labor market. The companies are trying to figure out how to fight the post deportation time in the market.

Jennie Murray, CEO of the National Immigration Forum, a nonpartisan, nonprofit immigrant advocacy organization said that they are losing the fight for the labor in the USA and the mass deportation may hurt the US economy and the companies are trying to figure out the loss the economy would face post deportation.

Trump-Vance transition spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said that American people reelected president Trump to implement his promises to drive the largest operation against the illegal migrants and criminals. She said that president Trump will implement his plans to lower the cost for families, strengthen labor market, and recover the economy.

Expert analyzed both the scenarios of the possible losses after Trump’s mass deportation plans are carried. They have estimated an average loss of 0.1% to 0.4% in the 2025 GDP in the worst scenario from $30 billions to $110 Billions.

The economy will proceed with normal conditions in normal scenario while it can deteriorate and disrupt the economy in worst case scenario.

Wendy Edelberg a senior fellow at the institution’s Hamilton said that the labor cost will increase significantly after the deportation due to the labor shortage which will lead to higher inflation in the labor market and the cheap services and good would not be possible to deliver.

But in some cases it may help control the inflation as the migrant will not use their money and the demand for goods and services will significantly decrease.

1 in 3 workers were migrants from 2021 to 2023 in the farming fields according to the California Budget & Policy Center. The California farm bureau will work with the new administration to solve the problems in the labor market shortage especially in the agricultural sector due to the mass deportation.

They said that they will work with the Trump administration to closely watch the deportation process while looking for job market shortage, and workers who are very crucial for the state’s agriculture.
