AI and Automation have found their place in agriculture as they did in all other fields of life. But they rose some eyebrows as they have done in the other aspects and fields of humans, the fear that the tech and Ai is going to take the humans’ jobs.
There are various opinions among the Ai and technology specialists around the globe about the Ai and tech, that either they will take away the jobs of people or they will be good companions to facilitate the humanity and create more jobs for the people.
Ai and automation is transforming the agricultural sector as they are doing the in the rest of the sectors of human life. They are bringing changes to various factors in the agricultural aspect of life.
Crop health:
We can identify any problem in the crops early with the help of robotics and Ai and cure it on time to avoid any further problems which makes the crops more healthy.
Soil quality:
Ai can help us analyze soil and detect the issues in the soil early and cure it on time. We can make the soil healthy with the help of Ai and automation. The machine learning can help us keep our soil in better shape and health.
Pests and weeds:
Ai can help farmers and producers to identify and analyze a pest or pest infestation into the crops. the Ai enabled drones and robots can help them identify a specific pest and cure it accordingly.

Big data:
Ai can combine big data and analyze it to provide the best available results to the farmers. They can accurately analyze the data to drive the best possible result for the crops and farming.
Irrigation:
Ai and automation can help farmers to improve the irrigation in their farms and crops. Tech can help them identify nutrient deficiencies easily and recommend the best solution on time.
AI And Automation As Companion:
Ai and automation or robots or tech will help the people be more productive and make smart decisions. They will never get rid of the people to work by themselves but they will collaborate with humans to produce more and be creative.
“It’s going to help them just like the tractor did. Just like all kinds of technology helps humans to be more productive,” said Daniel Theobald.

Automation was a major sticking point in the USA agricultural union and labor negotiations in ports. The negotiations are in progress and the current contract expires in January. They union announced refusal of any automation advancements.
